William "Bill" McCallum graduated from Anacortes High School with the class of 1927.
He was active in sports, school government, operetta, and the newspaper staff. Bill was born January 20, 1908, to William H. and Mary McCallum and took over his father's real estate business after his father's death. In 1938 he married Irma Graham. Bill McCallum handled the land options for Shell Oil Company on March's Point in 1953. He also developed two housing areas, Brookfield Park and View Acres, in Anacortes.
He sold his business in 1973 and died October 7, 1985.
